From July 2 to 6, local time, the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
On July 2, the 7th meeting of the China-Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs Committee was successfully held in Astana. More than 500 entrepreneur representatives, including representatives from 50 Chinese enterprises, attended the meeting.
In the presence of Roman Sklyar, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Eavision signed letters of intent with Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture for the technical cooperation of intelligent agricultural plant protection drones.
The introduction of this technology aims to promote the intelligence and greening of agricultural production in Kazakhstan.
During this meeting, China and Kazakhstan signed 44 significant agreements worth $3.7 billion. Among these, the cooperation agreement between Eavision and Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture is the only one related to intelligent equipment.
Eavision has thus become the first agricultural drone company officially introduced by Kazakhstan, marking a significant milestone.
At the signing ceremony, Xi Guohua, chairman of CITIC Group, also highly praised the Eavision intelligent agricultural plant protection drones project, invested by CITIC Agricultural Fund, recognizing its efforts in promoting AI equipment to overseas markets through technological innovation.
Eavision and Kazakhstan have a good foundation for cooperation. In January this year, Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister of Agriculture led a delegation to Eavision for a special inspection, expressing full recognition and high interest in Eavision's research and application achievements in agricultural intelligent equipment.
In April, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan invited the Eavision agricultural expert team to carry out the first drone pilot application in South Kazakhstan to control locust disasters. This pilot project, which replaced traditional machinery with drones for integrated pest control, achieved excellent results.
In recent years, China-Kazakhstan cooperation has deepened and solidified. Both countries have engaged in in-depth cooperation to align the Belt and Road Initiative with Kazakhstan's Bright Path new economic policy, comprehensively strengthening connectivity, steadily advancing capacity cooperation, and promoting major strategic projects in Kazakhstan, thereby upgrading and improving economic and trade cooperation.
The signing of this agreement is Eavision's active response to the Belt and Road Initiative. In the future, Eavision will use advanced agricultural drone technology to help Kazakhstan improve agricultural production efficiency and enhance agricultural technological innovation capabilities.
