At the invitation of Brazilian President Lula, President Xi Jinping visited Brazil again after five years. During the visit, he toured one of the largest sugarcane cooperatives in São Cruz, São Paulo State. A significant change in the field management practices at this site compared to previous years is using agricultural drones for pesticide spraying, replacing manual labor.

Julia, the head of the cooperative, examined the distribution of droplets on the water-sensitive paper from the sugarcane leaves and nodded with satisfaction. She told reporters, "Since we introduced drones produced by the Chinese company (Suzhou JIMU Robot Technology Co., Ltd.), our pesticide spraying efficiency has significantly improved, and even areas that were once difficult to reach can now be easily managed.
