Partnership of the Laboratory of Ecotoxicology and Efficacy of Agrochemical, LEEA between Eavision and Kip International for evaluation of agricultural application with drone
Sep 27 , 2022On September 22, 2022, LEEA/Unifeb received a visit from Eavision and Kip International to establish a cooperation partnership in research and application development using drones.
The objective of the partnership between LEEA/Unifeb and the Chinese company of technology in agricultural application with drones, Eavision and the company of adjuvant products, Kip International aims to enable the realization of research and development projects of quality and application efficiency of agricultural products, in several Brazilian agricultural scenarios and in non-agricultural environments, such as eucalyptus, sugarcane, corn, railways and irrigation canals. Moreover, this partnership seeks to support the technology for the application of agricultural products in ultra-low volume (UBV) under these management conditions, added Fernando Dedemo, Executive Director of Kip International.
The objectives of the studies that will be developed aim to establish the quality and efficiency of the use of application drones in different working conditions, aiming to determine parameters and standards for improving the application of agricultural products, effects of adjuvants in application with drones and effects of mobility of products applied in non-target environments of the application, such as drift and other components of the environmental dynamics of agrochemical.
The studies that will be carried out by this partnership will also have the participation of Prof. Dr. Nathalia Garlich, PhD in agrochemical application technology and coordinator of the environmental chemistry laboratory, LQA/Unifeb and of students of the undergraduate course in agronomy at Unifeb. The participation of students in this type of project is essential for them to have knowledge of the new technologies available for the application of chemical products for Brazilian agriculture, completed prof. Claudinei da Cruz added.
