1. High-speed or coarse mist droplets are used for fruit tree operations
Fruit trees have the characteristics of higher plant height, thicker canopy, and more difficult to penetrate, so the selection of operating parameters should adhere to the principles of higher per mu, lower speed, and finer droplets. The faster the speed of agricultural drones, the worse the penetration of fog droplets to crops, and the common speed is generally around 1.5-3 m/s.
Pilots in some field areas often do not know the specific requirements of fruit tree operations. The use of 1-2L mu, which is common in field operations, and 6-7 m/s speed to operate fruit trees, not only the effect is poor, but also reduces the reputation of drone flight defense. It also caused difficulties in the promotion of subsequent local pilots.
At the same time, the fruit branches are lush and leafy, and more droplets are needed to improve the operation effect, so finer droplets should be selected.
2. Use a flight height of more than ten meters
There are many wires in some areas, and some pilots fly directly to a height of more than ten meters in order to fly more safely. After the liquid medicine is sprayed, it takes a few seconds to reach the surface of the crop. If the ambient temperature is high and the wind speed is high, this method of operation will bring about problems such as a large amount of liquid medicine evaporation and drifting with the wind. 3. The line spacing is set too wide
Stem and leaf weeding and growth regulators have high requirements on operating parameters, and the problems caused by heavy spraying or missed spraying are visible to the naked eye. If the row spacing is set too wide, the phenomenon of weeding stems and leaves is that the killing effect of weeds at the junction of the routes is poor. 4. The working line spacing and working speed do not match
The effective spray range of agricultural drones is related to the flight speed. In theory, the effective spray range is the lowest during the complete hovering period. Therefore, the setting of the line spacing should be related to the flight speed to avoid heavy spray or missed spray.
Correct idea: The faster the flying speed, the wider the allowed line spacing.
For example, taking the EA-30X as an example, the row spacing of field crops can generally be set to 7 meters, but in the fruit tree area, due to the slow flight speed, the general row spacing does not exceed 4.5 meters.
Wrong idea: Set a fixed line spacing regardless of the flight speed.
